Please read these service guidelines in conjunction with our Terms & Conditions.
Lead Times
All our products are made to order, to your specifications, lead times range from just 3 weeks to 12 weeks. This enables us to offer excellent value for money, along with an unrivalled choice of finishes selection for the very best in unique or custom, handmade pieces.
Please note that orders in August, Christmas and Easter, will add 2-3 weeks to our lead times.
As everything we sell is made-to-order most of our sales are not governed by the Distance Selling Regulations, so please read our Terms & Conditions before placing an order.Cancellations can be made within the first few days after ordering a made-to-order item, but after that, unfortunately, it is not possible. If you are unsure whether an item is a special order, please get in touch with us before making your purchase. We are unable to offer an exchange on custom orders.
Delivery
Our furniture is delivered by a dedicated delivery service. The cost of a furniture delivery is automatically calculated at checkout. It is based on the total order value of products being purchased. For oversized items like sofas, tables, bookcases we will take the delivery to ‘any room of choice’. Area surcharges are applied to specific postal codes.

**Free delivery is not valid for large items that need a two-man delivery service.
Returns policy
We hope you are delighted with your purchase from GV Architectural Furniture. However, if you would like to return any items (certain restrictions apply), we are happy to provide a refund or exchange, assuming that the goods are still in their original packaging and in a fully resaleable condition.
Your right to cancel an order for goods in stock starts when you place your order and ends 14 days after receiving your goods. This 14-day period is the time you have to decide whether to cancel; you then have a further 14 days to actually send the goods back.
In order to arrange a refund, return, or exchange, you will need to contact us by emailing support@gvfurniture.co.uk , you will receive a reply with a returns authorisation and instructions on how to proceed with the product return.
All goods returned must be in a perfect and saleable condition with original product packaging and instructions where appropriate. If the goods do not reach us in a perfect and saleable condition, and in their original packaging, then your right to a full refund may be affected. This does not affect your statutory rights. We are not responsible for returned goods being lost or damaged in transit.
Please note that you will be responsible for the delivery cost of returning any item to us, unfortunately, we are also unable to refund your original shipping cost. We will keep you informed of the progress of your return.
Restrictions
Made to Order Products
Products made to the customer’s specifications from available options, products we do not usually hold in stock, or products made to order by the manufacturer are not returnable. If you are unsure whether an item is a special order, please get in touch with us before making your purchase. Once unwrapped, Mattresses, bedding, cushions, cushion pads, throws, and other home textiles are non-returnable. We are unable to offer an exchange on custom orders.
Damaged/Faulty Goods
In the unlikely event that your order arrives damaged, please email support@gvfurniture.co.uk immediately. We advise you to check your purchase as soon as it is delivered.
We will then arrange for a collection of the goods and organise a replacement to be sent out to you at the earliest opportunity.
Wood appearance
We supply high-quality furniture grade wood, which may vary for grain, colour, knots, and other markings. We do our best to select and match appropriately, but we cannot accept returns based on natural variations. Any special requirements for colour, matching, etc., must be provided in writing.
